Paper award to a DOC member at ICSSA 2020
ICCSA is the International Conferences on Computational Science and Its Applications. In 2020 the conference was supposed to be held in Cagliari, Italy, in July 2020 but, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, moved to a virtual conference.
The ICCSA Conference offers a real opportunity to bring together scientists of different disciplines, discuss new issues, tackle complex problems and find advanced solutions breeding new trends in Computational Science.
Submitted papers were subject to stringent peer review by at least three experts and carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition. Accepted papers will appear in the Conference proceedings to be published by Springer-Verlag in Lecture Notes for Computer Science and Conference Publishing System (CPS).
For each conference themes a paper award was assigned.
The prize for the CompAstro session was assigned to Juan Enrique Romero, one of the DOC members. The presented paper was A combined DFT and RRKM-based study on the reactivity of HCO + NH$_2$ on amorphous water ice surface.
The paper, as all that submitted to the General Tracks of ICCSA 2020, will be published in LNCS.
Congratulations Joan!
